Introduction
In life, there are things to which people living in a society have grown accustomed, and would otherwise make living life feel different without them. Among these, the list runs long, including art, music, dance, and film. All these have been part and will always be part of human history. They affect society in a variety of ways, making noticeable and unnoticeable impacts. In contrast, they affect either negatively or positively and occupy a wide section of human lives. Though these arts have negative impact in the society, the paper is going to focus mainly on the positive impact of the arts and briefly mention a few negativities related to the knacks.
Art is the representation of human creativity put in a perceptive form which is taken to be pleasing and appreciated. Apart from the pleasure people from observing paintings, art can also be presented in various form such as music, dance, sculpture, among many other types. For example, in 2013 Newcastle University researchers discovered that viewing modern graphic design had a significant impact on the personal lives of elderly people (Agić et al. 9). It comes a long way as humans can be creative, the stone age when they would use soil and other kinds of ornament to create figures on the cave walls. These paintings they made were a means through which they expressed their emotions and thoughts. Art acts as a communication medium through which people communicate to one another in images, sound, and narratives hence delivering some relevant information that aids in building the society. It also eliminates discrimination brought about by illiteracy since it does not require any explanation thus understood by everyone.
All forms of art affect the society and dance is one of the most common form of knack in the modern society. It is most common among the youth who have taken it to be a hobby. This form of art keeps their mind preoccupied with something beneficial to them and can positively impact their lives. This preoccupation brings many of them together to socialize and communicate with each other on positive ideas, bringing productive impacts in the society. The formation of dance crews from various groups can enable people to get gigs to perform and even get paid. This is a channel in which they can gain capital from their work and entirely depend on themselves rather than just relying on their parents. These self-engaging activities make it hard for young adults without jobs to engage in activities that would otherwise lead to incarceration.

People also engage with music which is also another form of art in its way. The music industry in the modern world today has grown, with many musicians increasing every day. For example, the song “If It Makes You Happy” by Sheryl brings strong feelings and prolongs the readiness to spend time and energy for others (Wagner 2). The exponential growth shows how important music is to society. This growth brings a huge impact on society in more than one way. Musicians earn money from the music they play, be it any genre. From these, they are required to pay taxes to the government, which are then used to bring changes to the country by building the countries infrastructure like the building of learning institutions. With the establishment of learning institutions, people can acquire basic education and even advance as they grow to the point that they can fend for themselves and their families and contribute to country’s growth.
The film industry is another form of art that employs the concept of audiovisual presentation in one other growing area where artists have incredibly increased. Films are some of the things that play a huge part in the entertainment industry. Films provide enjoyment by telling a story in the form of art compiled by people acting and taking part in it. Children today are kept indoors by movies on television sets where their minds are preoccupied. These films enable children to have creative minds and propose ideas to counter everyday life challenges like coming up with new fresh ideas for creating their school projects on their own.
Other than impacting society positively, there are also diverse outcomes from all these forms of art. Music is played to be a form of entertainment and a form of communication through sound. Some people have taken advantage of this to spread political aggression to people and racism. This kind of use of this genre of art has caused many undesirable outcomes. Immorality has emerged among the youth under the influence of certain music that leads them to behave according to the negative message passed by the song.
The selling of artistic images and sculptures in auctions has led to the development of counterfeits. This art of high value has led to people venturing in ways through which they can acquire this art and use it to fraud art fanatics. This leads to huge losses to the owners of the art. Original pieces lose their value due to the emergence of these copies that may be sold at lower prices.
Conclusion
In conclusion, these forms of art contribute to the transformation of society due to the changes they bring among different groups. How they affect society depends entirely on how people choose to do with them. People use them to bring good to society or cause harm by use of art in an inappropriate way. Society depends on these forms of art and would be hard to do without; hence, it is important to preserve them.
