One of the most prominent organizations that nowadays receive significant revenue is Apple. The company is famous for its strategic management system in numerous ways. Currently, the company has developed its own unique strategy and distinctive features that guarantee consistent loyal customer inflow. Moreover, its reputation of Apple is derived from its prudent, well-planned decisions that include accountancy for crisis situations. Therefore, the success of Apple is formed by the appropriate process of strategic management.
Several essential aspects of strategic management are involved in the development of Apple’s functioning. As such, its mission statement is “to bring the best personal computing products and support…” (Visionary BusinessPerson, 2021, para. 5). This statement is consistent with the marketing environment of Apple. The business is prospering because Apple accounts for current trends in high technologies and consistently widens its industry limitations by producing gadgets. Next, the organization’s hierarchical structure is responsible for precise control of the production, although some issues with the flexibility for changes exist (Meyer, 2019). Further, the primary goal of Apple lies in distributing technologically advanced devices at prices acceptable to multiple people (Apple, n.d.). In combination, these factors shape the strategy that Apple currently follows. Namely, the main strategical decisions of the company consist of providing quality products, working for better customer satisfaction, enhancing the culture within the firm, and gaining revenue from residual sales (Research-Methodology, 2021). Therefore, the discussed components constitute the structure of Apple and determine its strategic success.
To conclude, Apple’s mission is consistent with its goals and the external environment for the industry. The quality of the products by the firm results in customer loyalty. Yet, internal issues such as lack of flexibility in the top management system are responsible for the company’s underperformance. Fortunately, Apple developed a strategy that would make the internal organization more productive and competitive in the market of technology.
